Korfball friends from all around! It's our pleasure invite You to take part into special korfball event: INTERNATIONAL KORFBALL TOURNAMENT “MAGLAJ 2008” traditionally organized by KC Maglaj for the 5th time. It deals about very popular korfball tournament with korfball teams and individuals attending from all around of Europe. By the way, this year we’re celebrating 10 years of korfball in our country and 600 years of city Maglaj, so we hope with Your presence You’ll help us to make these events really special as it should be!

The Organizing Committee offers You:

PACKAGE 1 : PRICE 130 Euro per person which includes:
- Sightseeing of Maglaj & a guidebook of the city;
- Accommodation in a private house (sleeping, breakfast & dinner included);
- 3 days of Korfball tournament, official opening and press conference;
- Official T – shirt of the tournament;
- Free entries to all parties;
- Big party outdoor for all participants (with unforgettable barbecue next to the river Bosna).

PACKAGE 2: PRICE 170 Euro per person which includes:
- Sightseeing of Maglaj & a guidebook of the city;
- Accommodation in a 3–Stars Hotel (sleeping, breakfast & dinner included);
- 3 days of Korfball tournament, official opening and press conference;
- Official T – shirt of the tournament;
- Free entries to all parties;
- Big party outdoor for all participants (with unforgettable barbecue next to the river Bosna).

If You are interested to take part in this event, all You need to do is to choose your package price & make a registration of your team not later then May 30th of 2008, by sending an e-mail confirmation and transferring 30% of the chosen package price. Please, include contact details for one reliable member of the team in case we need to get in touch with you closer to the time.

Please note, after this deadline we won’t be able to accept any registration. The places will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Korfball friends from all around, it's our pleasure invite You to take part into special korfball event: International Korfball Tournament “Maglaj 2007” traditionally organized by KC Maglaj for the 4^th time. Joining this event You would have a lot of fun, good/exciting korfball matches and meet new country if You have never been in B&H. By this way, without feeling it, You’ll help us to promote and develop korfball in this region! You should have on your mind that last years on the IKT took part korfball teams from Belgium, Spain, England, Scotland, Hungary, etc, and that the number of participating teams is limited, so get your place on time!

Please note, after this deadline we won’t be able to accept any registration. If in some case You can’t come with a whole team a couple of people are welcome too, because always is possible to organize an International korfball team and have a lot of fun, as we did last years!

As soon as You contact us, we will send you all other necessary information about the IKT Maglaj 2007 such are plan & program of the korfball tournament, other parties/activities, and also we will suggest you the easiest way how to come in Maglaj without any problems and lost of time!

Maglaj International Korfball Tournament August 2006

The 3rd Maglaj International Korfball Tournament took place from 4th-7th August 2006.

Winners: Badalona from Catalunya
Runners-up: Birmingham University from England

Other teams who took part were Budapest (Hungary), Supernova (England), Norwich Knights (England), Edinburgh (Scotland), Badalona 2 (Catalunya), Maglaj 1 & Maglaj 2

Korfball clinic in Maglaj November 2005

On the weekend of 11th to 13th November two Belgians, Daniël De Rudder and Bjorn Elewaut ran a clinic for refereeing and coaching in Maglaj.

16 student players attended the clinics. The new IKF korfball rules were presented by IKF referee Bjorn Elewaut. Daniël De Rudder, a well known coach who led the Belgian and Polish national teams in the past, was responsible for the coaching part.

Aswell as helping to develop the club in Maglaj, following on from the courses, another aim is to start up new clubs in Sarajevo, Tuzla, and Belgrade, in order to further develop korfball in the region and make the game accessible to many more people.

Supernova in Maglaj 6-7 August 2005

On 01.08.2005 this year we were visited by K.C. Supernova from England. We had a really great time with them. On Saturday 06.08.2005 we had some training sessions where our friends from England showed us some new korfball exercises and on 07.08.2005 we played a mini-tournament between Maglaj 1, Maglaj 2, and Supernova. We think that learning new things about korfball is very important to the future of the club. Because we are a very young club, all the support we can get from other sides is very good for us. We also made some plans to work together with K.C. Supernova in the future and think that in next period we will have good co-operation with them. They are planning to come back to the international tournament that we are arranging in Maglaj next year and they will help us with publicising the tournament in order to get more teams here.
